Newport Ambulance Service, (dba as Northern EMS) is a paramedic level, regional, non-profit
ambulance service provider covering the towns of Belvidere, Eden, Hyde Park, Johnson, and
Waterville. The service covers an approximately 200 square mile area, with a resident
population of 8744, with a total run volume of over 1500/ 911, emergency and non-emergency
transports annually. We also supply Critical Care Paramedic transports out of Copley Hospital
to other tertiary care hospitals.
The Newport management seeks a highly motivated individual with supervisory experience as
well as possessing current Vermont paramedic credentials, with Vermont critical care paramedic
certification preferred, as well as ACLS, PHTLS, PALS, NIMS 100, 200, 300, and 800, EVOC or
equivalent driver training certificate, as well as a clean driving record. The position will
be contingent on passing physical examination, criminal and OIG background checks, and motor
vehicle record checks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day operation for the
Johnson division of Newport Ambulance, with supervisory duties for 22 full and part time
employees. It is essential for the candidate to have skills in policy and procedure
development and administration, personnel management experience, database software literacy,
and familiarity with the Vermont SIREN patient care reporting software.

BENNINGTON RESCUE SQUAD
PER-DIEM PARAMEDIC AND CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC
The Town of Bennington Rescue Squad, Inc. is a full service, 501(c)3 non-profit
Emergency Medical Service providing Paramedic 911 services to the Towns of
Bennington, Old Bennington, North Bennington, Woodford, South Shaftsbury
and Shaftsbury. We are staffed by career and paid on-call EMTs and Paramedics.
In addition to 911 services we also provide Paramedic Intercepts to other rescue
squads and ambulance services in addition to emergency and non-emergency
Advanced and Basic Life Support intra-facility transports.
Qualifications: Nationally Registered or Vermont Paramedic. Must have two years
of direct patient care experience. Must have clean driving record, and have no
physical limitations, which would prevent you from doing the job of an EMT-Paramedic.
Information: Applicants are expected to work varying work schedules in order to
meet the operational needs of a 24 hour / 365 day a year essential emergency
service. This includes emergency call-in, overtime (including mandatory overtime)
nights, weekends and holidays. Incumbents may experience work shift or job
duty reassignments and/or alterations in their scheduled vacation leave during a
declared state of local emergency including any natural or man-made disasters.
Yearly performance and pay evaluations will be conducted.
The Benefits: Starting pay depends on experience and qualifications.
